Can't find Default Open Mode for Databases in View menu, Options due to moved.
Cause:
The 'Options...' command has been moved to the 'Tools' menu, and the 'Default Open Mode for Databases' option has been moved to the 'Advanced' tab and renamed 'Default Open Mode'.
Solution:
To set the default open mode for databases in Access 7.0, use the 'Options...' command under the 'Tools' menu, and select a radio button from the 'Default Open Mode' group of the 'Advanced' tab.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'Advanced' tab.
3) Do one of the following in the 'Default Open Mode' group:
Default Open Mode
NOTE: All new databases will be open in the mode that is selected for the default.
a) Select the 'Shared' radio button to open databases in shared access mode.
b) Select the 'Exclusive' radio button to open databases in exclusive access mode.
4) Click 'OK'. (The Options dialog box closes.)
